The couple, who are proud parents to their son Zane Walker, had actually been engaged for two months before finally sharing the news with the world. Burgess, aged 38, disclosed the details to podcast host Randy Spelling, shedding light on the romantic proposal orchestrated by Green, aged 50, during a surprise birthday celebration hosted by Burgess in June.

Green, with a twinkle in his eye, recalled the momentous event, sharing how he believed that the birthday party would be the perfect setting to propose. Unbeknownst to Burgess, this special occasion would become the backdrop for a beautiful milestone in their relationship.

As the evening unfolded and guests continued to enjoy the festivities in their home, Green took Burgess aside, leaving her momentarily puzzled. She had no inkling of what was to come. Once inside their bedroom, the atmosphere shifted, and Burgess sensed something extraordinary was happening.

With a touch of anticipation, Green summoned his children, including 7-year-old son Journey River, who held a red Cartier box in his hands.
