Drake Responds to Criticism Over His Friendship with Millie Bobby Brown on New Album

In his latest album, "For All The Dogs," which dropped recently, 36-year-old rapper Drake seemed to address the criticisms surrounding his friendship with actress Millie Bobby Brown, who is 19 years old. The controversy emerged when Brown disclosed that they had been close when she was just 14, during a 2018 interview.

Drake, who is currently taking a hiatus from music to prioritize his health, decided to incorporate this controversy into his lyrics. In the track titled "Another Late Night," he mentioned Millie Bobby Brown by name, rapping, "Weirdos in my comments talkin' 'bout some Millie Bobby, look/Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin'."

In the same song, Drake appeared to issue a warning to those who criticized his friendship with Brown, stating that he would "send a finger to your mama in some FedEx boxes/Open up that s***, it's jaw droppin', really shockin'."

The connection between Drake and the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated actress began in November 2017 when they met at a concert in Australia. Their publicized photo, with Drake's arm around Brown, made headlines. Brown later disclosed in an interview with W Magazine that Drake had invited her to his concert. She mentioned that they would communicate frequently, seeking his advice on matters related to her love life.

Currently, Millie Bobby Brown is engaged to Jake Bongiovi, with their relationship becoming public in 2021. Drake faced criticism for what some perceived as an inappropriate relationship with the young actress.

In response to the backlash, Brown defended their friendship in an Instagram Story post, where she expressed her frustration with the media's focus on their connection, writing, "Why you gotta make a lovely friendship ur headline."

This update addresses Drake's lyrical response to the controversy and the background of his friendship with Millie Bobby Brown, emphasizing her own perspective on the matter.
