In scenes set to air in Australia this week (UK viewers will have to wait until early 2024), Tane becomes aware of Felicity's deception as he stumbles upon her contraceptive pills.

A conversation with Mackenzie Booth raises suspicions about his wife's behavior. "Things just aren't adding up for Tane, and Flick is acting oddly, especially with Mackenzie, which he notices," revealed Tane's actor, Ethan Browne, in an interview with TV Week.

"She doesn't tell him anything really, except to talk to Felicity, which for him is a giveaway that something is up."

Back at home, Tane confronts Felicity, asking her to reveal the contents of her bag. She takes out her personal items one by one, with the pills being the final revelation. Despite her insistence that she hasn't been taking them, Felicity's credibility is shattered. Tane packs a bag and storms off in heartbreak.

"He can't believe this has happened," Browne said. "He's so heartbroken, he leaves."

As he leaves, Tane crosses paths with Felicity's brother, policeman Cash Newman, who attempts to calm him down, only to receive a punch in the face.

Felicity tends to her brother's wounds, but when Cash learns of Tane's actions, he isn't as sympathetic as she'd hoped. He insists she rectify her mistake.
