Belgian action star Jean-Claude Van Damme, who made a brief appearance on the iconic TV show "Friends" in 1996, recently expressed his embarrassment regarding his performance during the cameo.

In the episode titled "The One After the Super Bowl: Part 2," Van Damme portrayed himself, sharing the screen with Jennifer Aniston's Rachel and Courteney Cox's Monica. The plot revolves around Rachel and Monica developing crushes on Van Damme, leading to a comical showdown over who gets to go on a date with the action star.

Upon reflection, Van Damme revealed in an interview with the New York Post, "My acting is so bad. I look so like a ham. Like, 'Hey, girls.' ... It's like, I'm ashamed of myself. So, then I was on the set, and those girls, they go, and they kiss me, and they kiss me on the lips. I didn't know what to do, how to do ... It was strange. They were very nice."

Interestingly, Van Damme confessed that he was not well-acquainted with the show, which aired from 1994 to 2004, before his guest appearance in the second season.

He recounted, "So, when I go to the show, I see those two beautiful girls, and they say this is the hottest show right now in the world. So, I was very glad. And my agent said, 'You have to do an episode with them. So you're going to play this guy.'"

Despite Van Damme's self-critique of his "Friends" cameo, he emphasized that the overall experience was memorable. He commended the cast, noting their professionalism, as they were accustomed to working on the show daily.

"Friends," a beloved sitcom, also featured stars like Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc.
