Step aside, Nicole Scherzinger, because The Masked Singer has a new emotional panelist in town. While Scherzinger is usually the one shedding tears on the beloved celebrity singing show, this week's NFL Night saw Ken Jeong displaying a rare emotional side.

During Gazelle's captivating performance of Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away," viewers could see Jeong deep in thought. When the moment arrived for the panelists to guess the singer's identity, Jeong's emotions became evident.

Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg ventured a guess that it was Leighton Meester, a suggestion that even Robin Thicke amusingly refused to double down on. It was then Ken Jeong's turn to reveal his guess. He began, "Real talk, I don't often express myself like this, but I was genuinely moved by this voice."

Tears welled up in his eyes as he continued, "I may not have the keen ear that Robin and Nicole possess, and I could be mistaken, but it sounds like someone very dear to me, someone I genuinely love. Just hearing this voice, it might be Constance Wu."

The other panelists expressed their support for his guess, and Jeong added emotionally, "Even if it's not you, I want you to know that I am thinking about you, Wu. I love you." Gazelle, the mystery singer, appeared touched by Jeong's heartfelt comments and responded, "I love you, Ken."

Ken Jeong and Constance Wu share a long history of friendship, having worked together on the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat and the romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians. While Jeong didn't explicitly mention it, these past years have been challenging for Constance Wu, who has been candid about her mental health struggles, including a suicide attempt, triggered by cyberbullying and backlash over a series of tweets related to the sitcom.

As of now, Gazelle's true identity remains a mystery, but Jeong has been surprisingly accurate with his guesses this season. Last week, he was the only one to correctly identify Rubber Ducky as Anthony Anderson, and his hunch that Diver is Tom Sandoval is gaining credibility as well. If Jeong's guess about Gazelle turns out to be true, this season may as well be dubbed "Season Ken."
