Leigh-Anne Pinnock, a member of the iconic girl group Little Mix, has unveiled the challenging times the group went through and how therapy played a crucial role in their recovery. After Jesy Nelson's abrupt exit from the band in December 2020, a storm of online fan wars and reports of infighting hit the headlines. In her upcoming autobiography titled "Believe," Leigh-Anne shares her perspective on this turbulent period. She describes the emotional toll of the sudden departure and how therapy became a lifeline for her, Perrie Edwards, and Jade Thirlwall. The therapy sessions helped them process their emotions and allowed them to move forward, leaving behind the messiness of the past.

Jesy Nelson's departure was attributed to her struggles with mental health and the pressures of fame. It caused a significant rift within the group, and publicly, they downplayed the tension. However, reports revealed that they learned about Jesy's exit through their lawyers and were subsequently blocked by her on social media. The band eventually decided to go on hiatus in May 2022, while Leigh-Anne began her solo career. Despite the pain of losing a member, Leigh-Anne highlights the growth and strength they found as a trio. They achieved remarkable milestones, including a successful arena tour and winning the 2021 Brit Award for British Group, becoming the first girl group to do so.

The aftermath of Jesy Nelson's departure was marred by rumors of infighting within the group, reaching an ugly climax when Jesy launched her solo career with accusations of "blackfishing." Leigh-Anne's memoir mentions leaked Instagram messages that seemed to show her criticizing Jesy for "blackfishing." The situation escalated further when Jesy and Nicki Minaj appeared on an Instagram live session, leading to a clash between their supporters.

Leigh-Anne also reflects on her personal struggles during this period. She experienced crippling anxiety while recovering from a caesarean section after giving birth to twins with her husband, Andre Gray. She describes the online feud as one of the most difficult moments in her career. However, the love and smiles of her newborns gave her a new perspective and helped her move past the negativity.

Throughout her book, Leigh-Anne emphasizes the importance of cherishing the memories and love the group shared during their time as a foursome. She acknowledges that the split does not diminish the genuine bond they had. Jesy's absence is felt, but Leigh-Anne remains positive about their individual journeys.

Jesy Nelson, in a separate interview with The Sun, admitted that she had not been in touch with the girls and expressed her best wishes for them. There is no bad blood from her side, and she cherishes the incredible memories they created during their time together.
