Monty Don, the beloved 68-year-old television personality known for his BBC gardening show, recently moved viewers to tears when he paid a touching tribute to his cherished dog. Today, Monty's social media followers shared their sympathies as he posted a series of photographs on Instagram in memory of his faithful companion, Nell.
Nell was a frequent presence on Monty's social media accounts and became beloved among fans of his gardening series. In his recent Instagram post, Monty shared a collection of heartwarming and bittersweet photos, saying, "A friend (@one.lev ) sent me a batch of pictures he took of Nellie during GW filming over the years. They are all good but these are my favorites."

She was diagnosed with cancer in June, and every day this summer has been a gift but it is over now." He revealed that Nell was buried beside her canine companion, Nigel, wrapped in one of his jackets, surrounded by flowers, balls, and her favorite biscuits. Monty concluded by saying, "Her end was peaceful and dignified and ended obvious suffering but it never gets any easier to bear. So life goes on, but for the moment, we are very, very sad."
