Exciting Weekend Ahead: Pumpkins, Parties, Fundraisers, and an Eclipse!

Introduction:

The weekend is upon us, and it appears that the recent rain and snow have cleared up, promising a tranquil weekend ahead. This is perfect timing because there's a lot happening in Fremont County!

Eclipse Viewing:

On Saturday morning, there's a great opportunity to witness an eclipse. While there might be a few clouds, with proper eye protection, you can safely view the 70-80% sun coverage. Remember, never look directly at the eclipse without eclipse glasses. Sinks Canyon State Park is hosting an eclipse viewing party and has 50 pairs of eclipse glasses for visitors.

Live Sports Streaming:

If you're a sports enthusiast, you can catch the action live on County 10's YouTube channel. Before the Riverton vs. Buffalo game tonight, there will be festivities to get you in the mood.

Halloween is just around the corner, and the Halloween spirit is kicking in. The Riverton Museum's Pumpkin Trail and Lander's Halloween Night at the Museum are starting this weekend. To keep up with all the Halloween happenings around the county, County 10 has launched its Halloween 2023 page. You can also add your events to the calendar.
