Pure Expression Extends the Immersive 1984 Experience at Hackney Town Hall
In response to overwhelming demand, Pure Expression is thrilled to announce the extension of the immersive theatrical production of George Orwell's "1984" at Hackney Town Hall. The run has been extended until December 17, with additional press nights scheduled for November 2 and October 26.
This unique theatrical rendition of Orwell's classic novel, created by Adam Taub, and taking place in the grandeur of Hackney Town Hall, is co-directed by Jem Wall and Richard Hahlo, the co-artistic directors of Hydrocracker. The play features a talented cast including Jude Akuwudike as O'Brien, Kit Reeve as Julia, and Declan Rodgers as Winston.
